Baku: BP’s Executive Vice President for Production and Operations, Gordon Birrell, conducted a one-day scheduled visit to Baku, the company informed APA-Economics. This visit was part of Mr. Birrell’s regular engagements in Baku, focusing on reviewing the progress of BP’s business activities in the region and discussing future business priorities and prospects.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mr. Birrell held several meetings with BP’s regional management to assess the current situation of projects where BP acts as an operator. The discussions also included plans and strategies for the upcoming year, 2025.
During his visit, Mr. Birrell met with Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf. The meeting addressed the status of ongoing energy projects in Azerbaijan facilitated by BP and covered broader discussions on BP’s business objectives both globally and regionally.
