The British Minister for Europe and North America, Leo Docherty, is visiting Azerbaijan.

British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld said on Twitter that the Minister met with the head of the Azerbaijani State Border Guard Service, Lieutenant General Muzaffar Pirizade.

“We discussed security issues in the Caspian Sea and other bilateral cooperation projects,” he said.

Besides, Leo Docherty met with demining experts during his visit to Azerbaijan. “We discussed the importance of mine action and the UK’s support to Azerbaijan in this area,” the Ambassador added
