Baku: A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation has been signed between the Baku Initiative Group (BTG) and the Institute of Advanced International Studies (INHEI) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the memorandum was signed by Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group Abbas Abbasov and Director General of the Institute of Advanced International Studies (INHEI) Philippe Sandwidi. This cooperation is regarded as an important step in expanding the BTG's activities across Africa.

It was also noted in the report that while the BTG had previously signed similar documents with political parties and political movements from various countries, this marks the first time the group has launched cooperation with a state institution.
