Budapest Hosts Workshop on Youth Engagement with Western Azerbaijan Realities

Budapest: An international workshop titled ‘Youth Perspectives on the Realities of Western Azerbaijan’ was held at the Association for Youth Development and Integration (AYID) in Budapest, supported by the World Azerbaijanis Youth Organization Agency and the Agency of State Support to NGOs, in partnership with the Western Azerbaijan Community.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the workshop aimed to discuss the right of return within international law, draw the attention of European youth to the realities of Western Azerbaijan, and promote new opportunities for cooperation. The event was moderated by the Chairperson of AYID, Fargana Bayramli, and saw active participation from foreign young people living in Europe.

Fargana Bayramli emphasized the importance of raising young people’s awareness of the realities of Western Azerbaijan, stressing the need to involve them in international discussions and in initiatives aimed at restoring historical justice. The World Azerbaijanis Youth Organization plans to implement further educational projects on the topic of Western Azerbaijan.
