Bulgaria and Azerbaijan Explore New Horizons for Economic Partnership

Baku: Prospects for trade and economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan remain stable and have significant potential for further development in the coming years, according to Bulgarian international relations expert Stanislav Bachev. He shared his insights in the latest episode of the "Azerbaijan and the World" program broadcast on the AZERTAC website.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Bachev highlighted that the South Caucasus and the Balkans are gradually regaining their historical significance amidst the changing global geopolitical architecture. He pointed out that Bulgaria's strategic position as a 'gateway to Europe' opens additional opportunities for expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan. The bilateral relations between the two countries are developing consistently and constructively, having already reached the level of strategic partnership.

Bachev emphasized that the resumption of air service between Baku and Sofia is a significant symbol of this progress, reflecting the deepening political, economic, and humanitarian ties between the countries. This development underscores the commitment of both nations to strengthen their partnership and explore new avenues for collaboration.
