Baku: Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Nadezhda Neynsky expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a phone conversation for aiding in the safe evacuation of Bulgarian citizens from Iran.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the conversation between the ministers took place on March 8, where they discussed the recent security developments in the region, particularly the drone attacks by Iran on Azerbaijani territory. Minister Neynsky condemned these attacks and emphasized the importance of stability in the region.

The discussions also covered the prospects for bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan. The ministers exchanged insights on energy security, regional connectivity, and collaboration within international organizations.
