Baku: Bulgarian President Iliana Iotova expressed her gratitude for representing Bulgaria at the Leaders' Session of the World Urban Forum 13 (WUF13), commending Azerbaijan for organizing the event under the United Nations' auspices.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Iotova highlighted the ambition and energy required to gather numerous heads of state and government, alongside various international representatives, at such a significant forum. She emphasized the honor of representing Bulgaria and underscored the importance of the forum as a platform for exchanging best practices and ideas to tackle the challenges of rapid urbanization.

Bulgaria was well represented at the forum, with participation from local authorities, including the chairman of the National Association of Municipalities and the mayor of Veliko Tarnovo, Daniel Panov. The event provided an opportunity for dialogue and collaboration among global leaders and urban planning experts.
