Baku: The Cabinet of Ministers convened a session to discuss the draft state and consolidated budgets for 2026, alongside forecast indicators for the subsequent three years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Ali Asadov. The session also focused on the concept and projected indicators of Azerbaijan’s economic and social development.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the draft budget and development forecasts were submitted by relevant agencies and reviewed during the session, as stipulated by the Law ‘On the Budget System.’ Prime Minister Ali Asadov presented the main indicators of the draft state budget for the year 2026.
Reports on the budget projects and forecast indicators were delivered by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, and Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev. Following these presentations, the decision was made to submit the draft budgets and development concept for 2026 and the ensuing three years to the President of Azerbaijan, accompanied by the necessary documents.
