Ottawa: The Canada-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group recently reconvened at the Parliament of Canada, marking a significant step in fostering diplomatic relations between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Canada publicized the event through its official social media platform X. During the meeting, Charg© d'Affaires Vusal Suleymanov engaged with Canadian Members of Parliament, addressing inquiries related to Azerbaijan's foreign policy priorities and the state of Azerbaijan-Canada relations.

Suleymanov elaborated on the ongoing normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia and discussed Azerbaijan's energy policies. He highlighted Azerbaijan's contribution to global energy security and its involvement in significant transport and logistics initiatives.
