In January-October of the current year, 90.2 million tons of cargo and 901 million passengers were transported by car, which has the largest share in the volume of transportation in Azerbaijan, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

Compared to the same period of the previous year, cargo and passenger transportation decreased by 1,9% and 4,5% respectively.

According to the information of the Committee, 91,8% of passengers used bus, 8,2%-taxis.
