Aktau:The International Forum titled 'Caspian macroregion Architecture of political partnership of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan' took place in Aktau, gathering experts, diplomats, public figures, and academics from both countries.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the forum was organized by the 'Azerbaijan Center' public foundation with backing from Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Aktau.
Opening remarks were delivered by Aykhan Suleymanli, Consul General of Azerbaijan in Aktau; Ermek Talantuly, Acting Rector of Yesenin University; Ilkin Orujov, Director of the 'Azerbaijan Center'; Shamsaddin Huseynov, Chairman of the 'Dostlug' Friendship) Ethnocultural Union; and expert Eldar Jafarov.
The event included three panel sessions that explored the legal foundations of integration, transport diplomacy, and the Middle Corridor, along with the role of diaspora and public diplomacy in strengthening Azerbaijan-Kazakh relations.
Discussions highlighted the Middle Corridor's significance in enhancing relations between Central Asia and the South Caucasus. Participants stressed the importance of information diplomacy, shared historical and cultural values, and institutional frameworks within the Organization of Turkic States.
Visitors to the forum also toured the 'Azerbaijan Center,' where they received an overview of the Center's key activities.
