Baku: The Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Taleh Kazimov, recently held a meeting with the Chairman of the Swiss National Bank, Martin Schlegel, marking Schlegel’s first official visit to Azerbaijan. This was disclosed by CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov in a post on X, as reported by APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting involved discussions on the global economy and financial markets, focusing on priorities for monetary policy and financial stability in the medium term. Both parties also talked about digital initiatives aimed at advancing the financial sector. The discussions highlighted the appreciation for the current bilateral cooperation and explored avenues to further enhance collaboration between the two national banks.
