Baku: The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has maintained its forecast that the country’s current account balance will remain in surplus for both 2025 and 2026. This projection comes amidst stable external sector indicators, as reported by APA-Economics, citing CBA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Customs Committee reported a positive balance in Azerbaijan’s foreign trade in the first four months of 2025. This trend has reinforced the CBA’s confidence in its forecast, indicating that the current account will continue to show a surplus in the coming years.
