Baku: The issuance of banknotes in new denominations is not envisaged in Azerbaijan, said CBA Chairman Taleh Kazimov during a press conference today.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the CBA chairman emphasized that there are no plans to introduce banknotes in any denomination, including 500-manat banknotes, until 2030. The decision reflects the current monetary policy and financial strategy of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
