Baku: The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will keep the interest rate unchanged until the end of 2025.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this decision follows the updated forecast from the international economic statistics portal Trading Economics regarding the CBA’s interest rate.

The portal has adjusted its forecast for the third and fourth quarters of this year, lowering it from 7.25% to 7.00%. This adjustment aligns with the current interest rate set by the CBA. In July, the Central Bank reduced the interest rate to 7% for the first time in a year. The CBA is set to announce its next decision on the interest rate on September 10.
