'As of now, 18,467 local observers have been accredited to monitor the snap parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1, 2024,' Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission (CEC) announced in a meeting on Monday. 'Of these observers, 5,588 people were registered by CEC and another 12,879 by the constituency election commissions,' the CEC Chairman said.
