Anar Rahimli, an employee of Bakcell mobile operator, was wounded by gunfire from the Armenian side on December 29 at 4 pm.

According to the General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, the incident occurred in the area of Yeddi Khirman height.

“A preliminary investigation revealed that Anar Rahimli was wounded as a result of gunfire from the Armenian armed forces while he was performing his official duties in the mentioned territory.”

A criminal case was initiated on the fact, the General Prosecutor’s Office said in a report.

It should be added that the above-mentioned height is at a considerable distance from the line of contact between the Armenian and Azerbaijani forces.
