Baku: The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has decided to keep the key interest rate unchanged at 6.75% during its meeting on February 4.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decision comes despite the emergence of certain prerequisites for easing monetary policy in the country. However, ongoing fiscal and external risks prompted the regulator to adopt a cautious wait-and-see approach. This decision aligns with insights from ING Group, the largest financial group in the Netherlands, which highlights the importance of stability in the face of current economic uncertainties.
