Baku:The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) is set to reveal its next decision on the interest rate this week. This announcement will provide insights into the CBA's monetary policy direction and its impact on the economy.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the decision from the Central Bank's Board concerning the parameters of the interest rate corridor will be disclosed to the public on October 29. In the previous announcement, the interest rate was maintained at 6.5%, with the upper limit of the corridor stable at 7.5%, and the lower limit reduced by 0.5 percentage points to 5%.

The CBA has indicated that future decisions on the interest rate corridor will consider various factors, including inflation forecasts, key macroeconomic indicators, developments in the foreign exchange market, and banking sector liquidity. The bank will continue to evaluate macroeconomic forecasts based on multiple scenarios, taking into account global uncertainties and their potential effects on the domestic economy.
