Chairman Elected for CIS Council of Heads of Migration Bodies

Moscow: At the 29th meeting of the Council of Heads of Migration Bodies of CIS member states, the chairman of the Council of Heads of Migration Bodies was elected, APA reports. Andrey Kikot, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and Head of the Service for Issues of Citizenship and Registration of Foreign Citizens of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, has been elected as the chairman of the Council of Heads of Migration Bodies.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Russia has held the chairmanship of the council since 2017.
