At?sgah Sigorta” chairman of board Azer Aliyev has resigned.
His duties are temporarily performed by board member Tahir Kazimov.
In the future Aliyev will operate as an adviser to the chairman of the Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Security (DOST) of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. The former insurer has also left the post of deputy chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau and chairman of the Azerbaijan Insurers’ Association.
This is not the first transfer from the insurance sector to the social security sector in Azerbaijan in recent years. Thus, Mustafa Abbasbeyli, currently chairman of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Nijat Alibeyli, who holds managerial positions in the organization, and Anar Bayramov, who is an adviser to the Minister, had also once worked in the insurance sector
