Baku: Digitalization of public audit and the use of artificial intelligence in this sector are among the key priorities, stated Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of Azerbaijan's Chamber of Accounts, during a meeting with a delegation led by Muhammad Al Jasser, Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank Group, who is currently visiting the country.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the meeting, Vugar Gulmammadov provided detailed information about the institution's activities and achievements in the field of external state financial control. He emphasized the importance of international collaboration and the Chamber's role within the community of supreme audit institutions, while also outlining the Chamber's new Strategic Plan.
Gulmammadov highlighted that the digitalization of public audit, the application of AI, and the use of data analytics tools are among the Chamber's key priorities moving forward.
Muhammad Al Jasser discussed the Bank's activities, projects, and its cooperation with Azerbaijan, noting that the Bank's operations are in alignment with the priorities of its member states, including Azerbaijan.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on future cooperation prospects between Azerbaijan and the Islamic Development Bank.
