Chairman of State Committee Meets Kyrgyz Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Baku: The Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, Anar Guliyev, met with Maksat Mamytkanov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan. The Committee's Press Service informed APA about the meeting's agenda.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, discussions during the meeting focused on the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, with an emphasis on expanding cooperation in urban planning and architecture. Anar Guliyev highlighted the importance of Kyrgyzstan's supportive role in the restoration and reconstruction efforts in Karabakh and East Zangezur.

Guliyev pointed out that the opening of a school building in Khidirli village, Aghdam district this year is a significant example of Kyrgyzstan's support. He expressed optimism about the continued success and development of joint projects with Kyrgyzstan in the future.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Guliyev extended an invitation to the Kyrgyz representatives to actively participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), scheduled to take place in Baku in 2026.
