Champion Galatasaray Ends League Journey with Defeat Against Kasimpasa

Istanbul: Galatasaray, who announced their championship in the Super Lig last week, lost 1-0 to Kasimpasa away in the final week of the league, APA reports citing Turkish media. In the 34th and final week of the Trendyol Super Lig, Kasimpasa faced Galatasaray, who had announced their championship the previous week. Kasimpasa won the match at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium with a score of 1-0.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the only goal of the match that secured victory for Kasimpasa was netted by striker Adrian Benedyczak in the 27th minute. The match saw Galatasaray, despite their recent triumph as league champions, struggling to find the back of the net.

Furthermore, Galatasaray faced additional challenges as two of their key players were forced to leave the field due to injuries. Experienced goalkeeper Gnay Gven§ and young midfielder Renato Nhaga both exited the game, adding to the team's difficulties during the match.

With this result, Kasimpasa managed to secure their place in the league, increasing their points to 35. Meanwhile, Galatasaray concluded their victorious league campaign in first place, amassing a total of 77 points, despite the defeat in their final game.
