Baku: His Majesty, Charles III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, has addressed a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the national holiday.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter expressed the warmest congratulations from Charles III and his wife to President Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan. The letter emphasized the strong ties shared between the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan and expressed a desire to further strengthen the friendship between the two nations.

The letter also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the countries to tackle climate change and environmental issues, which are global challenges. Charles III conveyed his best wishes to President Aliyev and all Azerbaijanis for the year ahead.
