Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces to visit Pakistan

Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major-General Mohammad Bagheri is scheduled to pay an official visit to Pakistan in a bid to develop military and defense diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, APA reports citing IRNA.

Bagheri has been invited by Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. The trip to the neighboring country will kick off on Tuesday.

Heading a high-ranking military and security delegation, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces is going to meet with a number of top political, security, and military officials in Pakistan.

He will hold talks with Pakistan’s prime minister, army chief, chief of staff of the armed forces, as well as certain military officials, during his stay in Islamabad, capital city of the neighboring state.

The Iranian delegation is going to pay visits to Karachi in southern Pakistan and some marine and military headquarters.
