Children and Adolescents Benefit from Bicycle Campaign Initiated by Leyla Aliyeva


Khizi: A special social campaign was organized on May 11 for children and adolescents residing in the Khizi, Guba, Gakh, and Yevlakh districts, spearheaded by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the initiative saw a total of 200 children and adolescents, aged 6 to 18, from each district receive bicycles along with the necessary safety equipment. This ongoing effort aims to enable young people in these regions to utilize their free time more effectively, foster an interest in sports and healthy living, promote physical activity, and advocate for bicycles as an environmentally friendly mode of transportation. The recipients expressed their happiness and gratitude to the organizers for this considerate gesture.
