Baku: President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping has addressed a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Independence Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter emphasizes the strong ties between China and Azerbaijan, highlighting their status as comprehensive strategic partners. Xi Jinping notes that under their joint planning and leadership, the relationship between the two nations has reached a new level, with cooperation in various fields yielding significant results.

The Chinese President expresses his commitment to furthering China-Azerbaijan relations and maintaining high-level momentum in their bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of both countries' peoples. Xi Jinping concludes by wishing Azerbaijan prosperity, strength, and well-being for its people.
