Baku: The Azerbaijan Tourism Board's (ATB) official representative office in Beijing recently organized a familiarization tour for representatives of 17 Chinese tourism companies. This tour, which took place from September 7 to 11, aimed to showcase Azerbaijan's diverse tourism offerings and explore potential collaborations between the two nations.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, participants of the tour visited several key locations, including Baku, Ganja, Goygol, and Lankaran. During their visit, they delved into Azerbaijan's tourism potential, experiencing the country's historical and cultural heritage. The representatives also explored health tourism and ecotourism products, while evaluating various accommodation facilities available in the region.
The tour program featured a B2B meeting that brought together representatives from the Chinese tourism companies and nearly 70 local tourism companies. This meeting focused on discussing new opportunities for cooperation and exploring potential business partnerships, aiming to strengthen the tourism ties between China and Azerbaijan.
