Baku:The Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) convened member states to deliberate on regional security, economic cooperation, and common challenges, emphasizing the need to enhance the organization’s influence and convert dialogues into actionable steps.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the conference, which has served as a dialogue platform for over thirty years, now includes 28 member countries focusing on fortifying cooperation in areas such as regional security, economic growth, and emerging issues.
Under the leadership of Azerbaijan, beginning in 2024, the discussions aimed at reinforcing the organization's institutional framework and making cooperative efforts more effective. Key topics included migration, climate change, artificial intelligence, finance, education, and business. As CICA advances into a new phase, the focus shifts to how member states can transform discussions into sustainable collaboration.
