CMO Chairman to Visit Uzbekistan for International Islamic Forum

Tashkent: Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, will depart for the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 6, the Caucasus Muslims Office told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the purpose of the visit is to participate in the 1st International Islamic Forum on the theme "Islamic Civilization: A Path of Peace, Tolerance, and Enlightenment," scheduled from July 7 to 11 in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan. The forum is jointly organized by ISESCO and the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan.

The visit is taking place at the invitation of ISESCO Director-General Salim M. Al Malik and Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdulkhalikov. The itinerary includes a series of significant events.

The program comprises the forum at the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan, recognized as one of the largest humanitarian and cultural-educational projects of the 21st century. Additionally, it includes the inauguration of the new Imam al-Bukhari Memorial Complex in Samarkand, and visits to the International Research Centers named after Imam al-Bukhari, Imam al-Tirmidhi, and Imam al-Maturidi, alongside three international conferences. These events are dedicated to exploring the spiritual, scientific, and intellectual contributions of these historical figures.
