Companies from Tatarstan are hand in hand with Azerbaijan in the restoration of the liberated territories [from Armenian occupation after second Karabakh war], Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said, Trend reports.

He made the remark during the opening ceremony of the event dedicated to the Tatar national Sabantuy festival, held in Baku and timed to the 100th anniversary of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.

“Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation have close and multilevel relations. There are a lot of similarities and one of these points that I want to highlight is that Azerbaijan and Russia are multinational states, and the activities of the Tatar Diaspora in Baku, Azerbaijan, are a vivid example of that friendship, peaceful living, development and prosperity,” Mikayil Jabbarov said.

“We really appreciate the contribution that is made on a daily basis by our citizens and your compatriots. You have seen the whole scope of work to be carried out,” he said.

“There was the opening of a corresponding center in the liberated territories yesterday. It is worth noting that this is not the first and not the last project that we are doing together,” he said.

Auto Leasing Azerbaijan LLC, which is a joint Russian-Azerbaijani enterprise, has created a technical service center on the territory of 3 hectares of the Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park.

The center will play the role of a hub in the field of servicing trucks and agricultural machinery. The center will provide professional maintenance of about 1,500 vehicles used in the liberated territories, as well as transit vehicles transporting goods and other equipment.
