Baku: Construction work on the Alat-Astara railway line is expected to be completed by 2027, as stated by Tural Abbasli, Advisor to the Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) and Head of the Construction Project Management Department, during the National Business Development Forum.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Abbasli reported that the reconstruction of the Alat-Astara railway line is currently underway. The work includes upgrading the double-track railway section from Alat to Osmanli, while construction efforts are ongoing from Osmanli to Astara. The entire railway line spans a total length of 243 kilometers.
