Baku: A contaminant, 'Sereulid,' has been detected in the baby food branded 'Swissneo 1' (production and expiry dates 09.10.2025-09.10.2027) produced by 'Hochdorf Swiss Nutrition Ltd' and imported from Switzerland to Azerbaijan, the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (AFSA) told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, it was reported that a notification regarding the detection of the contaminant was received by the Food Safety Agency through the European Union's Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF).

Based on the notification, an immediate investigation was launched, and the release of that batch of the product into circulation was prevented.
