The Alamedin District Court sentenced Mursalym Umyrzakov, nicknamed Karyshkyr, a member of an organized crime group, to 14 years in prison. The Chui Regional Court informed 24.kg news agency.

He was found guilty under the articles «Creation of an organized group or participation in it», «Kidnapping», «Extortion», «Murder» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

It is known that five other people were among the accused. Among them is the woman who ordered the murder. She was sentenced to 9 years in prison.

Body of a man was found at the cemetery in Arashan village in April 2022. The deceased was repeatedly convicted man. According to preliminary data, the murder was ordered by his partner after a quarrel. One of the suspects is a member of the organized crime group Mursalym Umyrzakov, known as Karyshkyr.
