Baku: Deputy Foreign Minister and COP29 Chief Negotiator Yalchin Rafiyev presented an update on the Baku to Bel©m Roadmap to USD 1.3 trillion, which was launched in Baku during COP29, in collaboration with the COP30 incoming Presidency. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the COP29 and COP30 Presidencies emphasized the inclusive nature of the consultation process with all stakeholders. This collaborative effort aims to establish a Roadmap that encompasses practical actions to scale up climate finance for developing countries, targeting a financial goal of at least USD 1.3 trillion per year by 2035.
