Baku — Samir Nuriyev, the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, visited Baku Olympic Stadium to review preparations for the upcoming conference, according to APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, During the visit on August 27, the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company briefed the committee on the ongoing preparations. The delegation inspected several key areas including the Blue and Green zones, the plenary halls, the Leaders’ Summit area, and country pavilions. The Chairman provided specific instructions to ensure that all aspects of the infrastructure development meet the necessary standards and timelines for the significant international event.
