Istanbul: Trkiye's Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and COP31 President Murat Kurum visited the 'Urban Expo' exhibition held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), APA reports. The minister toured a number of pavilions presented at the exhibition.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Murat Kurum also delivered a press statement at the Turkish pavilion. The total exhibition area is approximately 35,000 square meters, with about half dedicated to exhibition space. The event features 260 participating organizations from 85 countries, represented across 122 stands and pavilions.
The participants are categorized into various groups, with civil society representatives being the largest, comprising 136 organizations. Additionally, there are 15 academia and research institutions, 44 private sector representatives including 14 startups, 41 national government pavilions, 10 public sector companies, and 6 local and regional government representatives.
