Baku: Azerbaijan is being recognized as a model for post-conflict recovery, especially in the arena of urban planning and sustainable development. Dalya Altuntepe, a heritage strategist and cultural tourism expert from Germany, emphasized Azerbaijan's achievements during her participation at the World Urban Forum 13 (WUF13).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Altuntepe highlighted Azerbaijan's efforts in restoring historical and cultural monuments in territories that were liberated after a period of occupation. She expressed pride in the country's dedication to these restoration projects. During her visit to Shusha, Altuntepe was deeply moved by witnessing the ongoing restoration work and emphasized Azerbaijan's role as a notable example of recovery and development in post-conflict environments.
