Baku: The date for the commencement of discussions on the 2026 budget envelope in the Milli Majlis has been officially announced. Chairman of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee, Azer Amiraslanov, shared this information with APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions in the committee are slated to begin on November 4. The discussions will focus primarily on amendments to the Tax Code, with other related documents included in the budget package scheduled for committee discussions on November 6. Amiraslanov noted that after the holiday, general meetings will be conducted over two days to finalize the discussions in various committees. Following this, the budget envelope is set to be discussed in a plenary session of the parliament.
