“Horadiz-Aghband railway is expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2023,” said chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov. 

According to him, works are underway to complete the work until the end of 2022: “40 km of lands fields are ready. Works for the construction of the tunnel and bridge are going on. The road has been extended to 11 kilometres. Mine clearing works also continue. Perhaps, by the end of this year, the 50-km-works will be completed.”
