Baku: On December 20, Minister of Finance, Co-Chair of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Montenegro, Sahil Babayev, met with a delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Ervin Ibrahimovic, who was visiting the country, APA reports citing Finance Ministry.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, S. Babayev emphasized the pivotal role of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation in advancing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro. He highlighted this mechanism as a crucial platform for transforming political intentions into tangible economic outcomes. The agenda for the upcoming meeting of the Joint Commission, set for March 2026, is expected to address a comprehensive array of topics including trade diversification, investments in the non-oil sector, green energy, tourism, infrastructure, and cooperation in the fields of small and medium-sized businesses.
