Daytime Transportation Monitoring for COP29 in Baku Concludes Successfully


BAKU: Daytime transportation monitoring in Baku has been successfully completed in preparation for the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29), which will be held in the city from November 11 to November 22. The monitoring aims to facilitate the seamless and safe organization of road traffic during the international event, according to the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the monitoring activities took place on October 19 from 11:00 to 15:30, focusing on key locations such as accommodation venues in the city center, the Heydar Aliyev Centre, and Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The initiative was part of a larger effort to ensure that the city’s infrastructure can handle the increased traffic expected during the conference.

The COP29 Operating Company collaborated with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency to conduct these monitoring activities. The effort involved the deployment of more than 20 vehicles and 15 shuttles. Notably
