Deadline Announced for Hajj Registration Documents in Azerbaijan

Baku: February 15, 2026, has been set as the final deadline for submitting documents for the Hajj pilgrimage, according to Vusal Jahangiri, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office and administrator of the Hajj electronic system. Jahangiri informed APA that this deadline is a result of new requirements from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which has mandated that all Hajj-related procedures be completed earlier this year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the earlier deadline for Hajj registration applies not only to Azerbaijan but on a global scale, indicating a shift in the schedule for all participating countries. Jahangiri emphasized that the registration process will close on the specified date, regardless of whether the quota for pilgrims has been filled.

The cost of the Hajj pilgrimage package for those registering in Azerbaijan has been set at $6,100 per person. This information is crucial for prospective pilgrims to plan their journey and ensure all necessary documentation is submitted in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with the new procedural timeline.
