Death toll from flooding in Trkiye rises to 14-UPDATED-2-VIDEO

The number of people who died due to floods in the earthquake-damaged Sanliurfa region of Turkey has increased, APA reports. Additionally, 1 person died in Adiyaman as a result of the floods. ***12:54 At least 5 people were killed and five others went missing on Wednesday due to flash floods in Trkiye’s provinces, APA reports citing NTV. Heavy downpour caused the Egricay River in the district to overflow causing the flooding. The floodwater swept away a container set up in a garden in Tut district. Numan Hatipoglu, who works as a coordinator in Adiyaman, said search teams had been dispatched to the scene.

The flood water also cause disruption in traffic on the main Ataturk Boulevard and other streets and avenues.
