A service meeting chaired by Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov was held at the Central Command Post of the Defense Ministry on March 7.

The meeting was attended by deputy ministers, commanders of troops, heads of departments and services of the Defense Ministry.

Commanders of military units and formations stationed in the areas liberated from the occupation, as well as other responsible officials joined the meeting via video link, the Defense Ministry’s press service reported.

“Analyzing the situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border and in the territory of Azerbaijan where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily located, the Minister instructed to immediately respond to possible provocations,” the report said.
