Baku: A delegation of Azerbaijan's Constitutional Court, led by Chairman Farhad Abdullayev, paid a working visit to Batumi, Georgia.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation engaged in a meeting with President of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, Revaz Nadaraia, and other judges from the Court. Revaz Nadaraia expressed his positive impressions from his 2025 visit to Azerbaijan, where he participated in an event commemorating the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan's Constitution.

Chairman Farhad Abdullayev conveyed his appreciation for the warm welcome and highlighted the growing friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia in numerous sectors. He stressed the importance of existing ties between the two countries, particularly in enhancing legal and judicial collaboration.

The discussions also covered the progression of Azerbaijan-Georgia relations, with an emphasis on the significance of reciprocal visits by leaders from both nations. The Azerbaijani delegation further met with Zurab Pataridze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, and Tsotne Ananidze, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara.

During these meetings, they explored the current state of Azerbaijani-Georgian judicial and legal relations and discussed potential avenues for strengthening cooperation in these fields. Azerbaijan's Consul General in Batumi, Fuad Azizov, was also present at the meetings.
