Delegation of Lithuanian Military Academy to Visit Key Azerbaijani Cities

Baku: In accordance with the 'Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2026' signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, a delegation from the Lithuanian Military Academy is on a visit to Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan MoD told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during a meeting held at the Institute of Military Management operating under the National Defense University within the framework of the visit, the importance of international cooperation and exchange of experience in the educational process was emphasized. A detailed exchange of views was held on issues of mutual interest, highlighting the significance of such interactions.

Later, the guests were presented with a briefing on the history of the educational institution. They were also informed about its areas of activity, innovations applied in the educational process, and other matters. Their questions were thoroughly addressed, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the institution's operations.

The Lithuanian delegation, which will remain in the country until May 15, is scheduled to visit a military unit of the Land Forces. Additionally, they will participate in cultural tour programs to the cities of Lachin, Khankendi, Shusha, and the capital, offering them a broader perspective of Azerbaijan's cultural and historical landscape.
