Jabrayil: A male individual born in 1985 who was injured as a result of a mine explosion that occurred today at around 13:00 in Jabrayil district has been hospitalized at the Fuzuli District Central Hospital, said Fuzuli District Central Hospital in response to APA's inquiry.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a mine incident occurred on January 7 in the area of Mehdili village of Jabrayil district, which has been liberated from occupation. While carrying out his official duties, an employee of one of the private companies involved in humanitarian demining operations, Rashad Nariman oglu Mammadov, born in 1985, was injured in an anti-personnel mine explosion. As a result of the incident, Rashad Mammadov sustained minor injuries to his leg.
'He has been diagnosed with an open wound of the right knee joint, open wounds of the upper and lower one-third of the right lower leg, open wounds of both thighs, and open wounds of the anterior abdominal wall. His treatment is currently ongoing at the medical facility. His condition is assessed as moderately severe,' the statement said.
The injured employee was evacuated to the district central hospital. His condition is satisfactory, and there is no threat to his life, ANAMA said in a statement.
