BAKU: The Danish gymnastics team triumphed with a gold medal at the European TeamGym Championships in Baku, showcasing exceptional performances in acrobatics and trampoline events. This marks the third day of the championship, which has seen intense competition among youth teams from across Europe.
According to Trend News Agency, the Danish squad topped the leaderboard with a score of 56.300 points across three programs. Sweden followed closely to claim the silver medal with 53.550 points, while Norway rounded out the top three, securing the bronze with 52.700 points. The competition took place on the specialized “TeamGym” carpet at the National Gymnastics Arena, where athletes demonstrated their skills on the acrobatic track and small trampoline.
Other teams, including Iceland and Great Britain, also put forth strong efforts, finishing fourth and fifth with scores of 46.000 and 44.800, respectively. An awards ceremony followed the competition, celebrating the top performers in the youth category.

ing championship, which concludes on October 19, features 498 athletes from 14 countries, including 268 adults and 230 juniors. Today’s events will also determine the champions in the female and mixed team categories.
